Naza TTDI is perhaps one of the most recognized names in Malaysia as it is known for its prominent role in the automotive and real estate sectors in the country. The company was first known as UDA SEA Park Development Sdn Bhd when it was established in 1973 before changing to TTDI-SEA Development Sdn bhd in 1984. In 1990, the name was changed again to TTDI Development Sdn Bhd where shareholding of the company has changed among the likes of UDA, Peremba Bhd and Permodalan Nasional Bhd before Danaharta bought over in 2001. Tan Sri Dato Seri Utama SM Nasimuddin SM Amin would than buy the company in 2004 through Ekspedisi Nikmat Sdn Bhd to continue the success of the property development group.
As the property arm of the NAZA Group, its name was then changed to Naza TTDI in 2008 where among its flagship projects include the development of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, one of the most prominent townships in Malaysia. Being the first project undertaken by TTDI, it has grown into a thriving township that covers residential and commercial properties while Naza TTDI has continued this element by building The Residence Condominium and Plaza TTDI in the vicinity.
Through this, TTDI has won the 1994 FIABCI Award for Distinction for Residential Property while it developed the several other projects like TTDI Jaya and Section 13 in Shah Alam as well as the Laman Seri series. Other notable project undertaken by Naza TTDI includes the Jayamas II, the Martrade Exhibition Centre and the TTDI Alam Impian and TTDI Grove in Shah Alam and Kajang respectively.
