SHL Consolidated has a long history dating back to the 1940s before it became one of the major property development companies in Malaysia. Then, the company was mainly involved in traditional commodities and was only around the 1960s that SHL started property development. This was made possible through a joint-venture and since then, SHL grew by leaps and bounds in several housing projects.
Today, SHL which is the acronym for Sin Heap Lee is involved in many businesses in various types of sectors. It is involved in construction, manufacturing, quarrying, trading and most notably in property development.

It was in 1985 that the Sin Heap Lee Development Group started its first housing project and that was when the group built the Taman Sri Rawang in Selangor. SHL Consolidated Bhd, through its subsidiaries are involved in many types of businesses related to the construction and property development areas that include granite quarrying, earthworks and even manufacturing of clay bricks. With more than 300 employees in the group, SHL Consolidated has a strong workforce.
Listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia, SHL has since launched some very prominent property development projects that include The Taipan which is located within close proximity with KLCC. Apart from that, SHL developed Taman Universiti Indah and Bandar Sungai Long, one of the most popular townships that has came about in recent years. This project remains the signature for SHL where it includes luxurious homes, condominiums, bungalows, semi-detached homes as well as a thriving commercial center and a golf resort as well.
